After nearly three years, Eric Banana finally got to doing his first Pranayama/Meditation class. While he feels that Pranayama is generally beneficial, he doubts that he's going to lose 15 pounds in a week through intense pranayama practice (a benefit extolled by a yoga instructor some time back) anytime soon. Especially not when he ate this right after his class:

oh, intense pranayama can help to lose weight??
I am gonna try it when I am back. ;)
that's probably 700 calories yo. which is about 1hour 10 minutes on the treadmill at approx. 9.5km/hour. That's also 1/10th of 1kg in calories...
But. your balance sheet can take it. :] you'll be able to fit into your wedding suit.
shedding off 15 pounds... sounds good... i should join the class once i'm back from my 'munching' trip in japan.
